We begin with prayer and a space of quiet. How one is drawn toward or away from God is explored. One could also say what is explored is how one is drawn toward or away from one’s deepest Self.

Introduction to the Enneagram Seminar
Ten Weeks
The Enneagram provides a map of discovery of who we truly are from a spiritual perspective. Why is this important? Our world is in a pivotal time where coming into consciousness of our True Nature yields a profound awareness of our connection with all people, even those we see as radically different from us. This dramatically affects our action. Our mistaken ego identity (our Type) creates separation from each other and ourselves. The Ennegaram teaches nine different paths of "waking up". It is rich in psychological sophistication and grounded in spiritual understandings that assist us in developing deep compassion for self and others. The focus of these sessions will be on learning key concepts of the Enneagram to engage with on this surprising journey of self discovery. Music, poetry, spiritual practices, and interactive exercises will be part of this process.

Three Instincts (Subtypes) Workshop
Two Days
Our instinctual nature, while extremely powerful in our daily decision-making processes and lifestyle choices, is given little emphasis in many spiritual paths, and is often treated as an inherent problem to be eliminated. Yet, without a clear and viable relationship with this aspect of our souls, it is extremely difficult to maintain an integrated approach to our path. The Enneagram deals very directly with this aspect of the Self through teachings about the Three Instincts: Self-Preservation, Sexual (Attraction), and Social.
In this Workshop, we will clarify and deepen our understanding of the Instincts, as well as learn how to balance them, allowing our instinctual energy to enrich our lives. Includes presentation, meditation, music, poetry, experiential exercises, and recommendations for growth. For more information, click Enneagram Workshops.
This is a two-day Authorized Riso/Hudson Workshop held on Friday, February 10th and Saturday, February 11th. 2012.

Freedom is a fruit of the spiritual
journey and is a fruit of supervision when this process is a respectful one,
where acknowledging one's choices is ever present. Beginning in prayer and
remaining open to the Sacred moving through us invites endless possibilities.
